How to Measure Your Pool Perimeter for Glass Fence Installation

Step 1 – Outline Your Fence Path:
👉Use a tape measure to trace the full path around your pool. Maintain a minimum distance of 48" to 60" (4–5 ft) from the waterline to meet safety standards.

Step 2 – Measure Straight Sections:
👉Break the perimeter into straight-line segments and measure each section precisely.

Step 3 – Choose Your Panel Widths:
👉12mm Clear Tempered Glass width include all size.Choose combinations that best fit your layout with minimal gaps.
👉 Important: Leave a consistent gap of minimum 1/2" (12.7 mm) and maximum 1"(25.4 mm)between each panel for proper spacing and alignment.

👉 Leave 1/4" gap on the hinge side between the door and hinge panel, and 5/8" on the latch side for proper clearance.

Step 4 – Count Spigots,Glass Door, Hinge Set,Pool Fencing Latche & Connectors:
👉You’ll need 2 Spigot per panel minimum, and 90° or Ajustable angle Glass Connector where needed.

👉Spring Self-Closing Glass Door Hinge Set
👉 Highly recommended: Add 180° glass-to-Glass Connector between each panel to strengthen the structure, especially in windy areas or open spaces.

Step 5 – Plan Your Door:

👉You must order a 10mm Clear Tempered Glass Door With Hinge Cutout
👉 You must order a fixed 12mm Clear Tempered Glass With Hinge Cutout to support the door hinges.
